The North Carolina Specialty Foods Association was established in 1992. Our mission is to actively encourage and support the promotion and appreciation of North Carolina specialty food, beverages and wine products, and to encourage an atmosphere of networking and support among our members.
Our membership ranges throughout the state of North Carolina, and there is great depth and diversity among our members. Our organization is supported in part by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and North Carolina State University Food Science Department. Many opportunities are available to our members, such as trade show exhibition, co-op advertising and nutritional labeling, just to name a few.
We hold bi-annual conferences, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. Our conference topics are wide ranging and offer our members the opportunity to interact directly with our featured speakers, as well as providing an excellent networking forum.
